We moved back to Echo Island to spend the week before our family reunion in Bear Lake. It was a good place for Terry to finish
recuperating. He had his post-op exam during that time back at the VA and passed with flying colors.

The biggest reason the kids (we still have
Boe and
Kamber) was excited was for the fishing pond. Only kids under 12 and old people over 62 can fish in it. They both had new fishing poles they were anxious to try out.

There was finally a nice enough day that we took the kids to the fishing pond. They had a really good time, but caught no fish.
Boe tried fishing almost completely around the pond, but still had no luck.

We tried to tell them that "a bad day of fishing is better and a day doing almost anything else," but I am not sure they were convinced! At least it got Grandpa out walking a little more to help continue building up his strength.
On Sunday evening, after going to Church that morning, we took the kids, their bikes and luggage, and headed to the Salt Lake City Airport to meet up with Jill and Dan. They were so excited I could hardly keep them in their seats on the way. It was sure a lot of fun having them with eight days. We will miss them!
