We have been members of
Camperworld for many years. We came to Pleasant Creek on our very first camping trip as a member. We thought it was quite the resort and have liked it ever since.

We were planning on staying for a week and Terry's sister and brother-in-law, Lolita and Bob, were going to meet us there later in the week.

But, on the last day we were in St. George, Terry thought he had a case of food poison. The next day he felt pretty good and that is when we went to Pleasant Creek. The second night we were at Pleasant Creek, he had another episode of "food poisoning," which I ended up diagnosing as gallbladder problems. In my transcribing of
clinicals for Travis, he has lots of people with the same symptoms and they end up needing their gallbladders out! We called Dr. Howard and he confirmed our suspicions.

Well, we decided that we needed to be closer to the VA hospital in Salt Lake City. The park we were scheduled to go to next is just 40 miles from the VA hospital. So, we took off the next day for Echo Island. We got there at about 11:00, set up, and drove down to the hospital, where they admitted Terry with a bad gallbladder and
pancreatitis.

We missed staying at Pleasant Creek for the week, and seeing Bob and Lolita. The park is at the base of some really pretty mountains and there is quite a bit of wildlife. Dear came into our camp each day, but this is the best picture I got of them. Maybe next year we will get to stay longer.
